Albany Community Action Partnership (ACAP) is an organization committed to our mission of empowering individuals, children, and families to achieve economic self-sufficiency and social well-being. We are heavily reliant upon the generosity of individuals and corporate support to further that mission.
ACAP accepts several types of donations including monetary, volunteer time, donation of talents, services, or needed supplies and equipment. Please look below for what your monetary donation can do, and how to make a donation!
All donations to Albany Community Action Partnership are tax-deductible.
Donating Through An Employer
Make your gift go further! You can check MatchingGifts.com to see if your company has a matching gift program. If your company does have a matching gifts program, please check if Albany Community Action Partnership is listed as a recognized nonprofit. If so, please be sure follow the procedures established with your company to set up a matching donation and enclose your company's form in the envelope.

Stock Donations
Sometimes stocks are better than cash! Not only do you avoid paying a capital gains tax on your stock, but you also receive an income tax charitable deduction for the full market value of the stock at the time of donation.

Property Donations
Whether you want to donate a vehicle, building, house, farm, or a vacant lot, we would love to hear from you! The benefit of donating a property is that you can donate the full market value as a charitable donation.
