2009 Highlights at a Glance
142 partner organziations worked with ACAP to expand resources to the communities we serve. 7,187 individuals from 2,992 families benefited from economic opportunities provided by ACAP. Only 9 cents of every dollar was used towards administrative costs. 156 individuals received tax return assistance. $249,750 in tax refunds were received by customers through ACAP’s tax services via Child Tax Credit, Earned Income Tax Credit, and Credit for the Elderly. 14 unique programs and 17 facilities are run by ACAP, offering centralized intake and integrate resources. $1,245,321 in in-kind and cash donations were received by our programs. 35% of our 147 employees are current or former customers. 996 commnity volunteers dedicated 10,611 hours of service to ACAP. $840,000 in new funding was received to offer the Career Pathways program in the Capital Region. Joseph Brennan, ACAP Board President, proudly received the 2009 Tech Valley Nonprofit Business Award for Board Service.
