Dress for Success Albany

ACAP's Dress for Success Albany, an affiliate of Dress for Success Worldwide, helps women move toward self-sufficiency by addressing their social and economic needs in relation to work, home and community. Each woman is a success story when she has gone from unemployment to economic independence.

Dress for Success Albany serves job-ready women by referral only from a range of organizations including domestic violence agencies, re-entry programs, shelters, and job-training programs. Each woman is provided with a suit when she has a job interview. Once she successfully lands the job, Dress for Success Albany provides additional business-appropriate separates that will help her build a professional wardrobe. She also receives an invitation to join the Professional Women's Group, an employment retention program.
