Child Care

Albany Community Action Partnership (ACAP) offers several child care programs in Albany County. Each program is in compliance with licensing regulations instituted by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services and/or the NYS Department of Education. In fact, the child care programs often go beyond what is required by law to ensure quality, comprehensive care for Albany County children and families.

ACAP's Early Learning Center (ELC) offers full day care for children ranging in from six weeks to five years old. ELC also has Head Start classrooms within the center for children ages three to five years old.

In addition to ELC, ACAP also offers the Family Court Children's Center. A safe and nurturing environment is provided at the Albany County Family Court for children whose parents have to take care of family court matters.

ACAP also offers Early Childhood Education programs for young children.
